Extracurricular Activities

When I am not doing research or teaching all the evil topics of the day, I am a stand up comedian, comedy writer, and improviser. I have performed at Goodnights Comedy Club and the Idiot Box Comedy Club in North Carolina, The Comedy Studio in Cambridge, MA, and at Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City. I have opened for headliners like Sean Donnelly and Michael Colyar, and performed in the 2022 North Carolina Comedy Festival. I am the host and creator of the Social Deconstruction podcast, where I bring a sociological and comedic lens to current events and the topics of the day.
